i wrote this on my old thunderingfeet blogspot on march 13th, 2009 and just found it today. i kinda like it!
“just yesterday, i thought about you again. i’ve gotta stop that.
it wasn’t the kind of thinking that hurts your brain, but just a little longing in the back of my head. it was a tuesday, and we all know those are no good. after i finished up my standardized test, i started sketching brian wilson’s face on the desk. it wasn’t when he was young and happy and surfing, though. he was getting older, and his face was emaciated, and he had let his hair grow out. his beard was haggard and his eyes were sleepy. sometimes you make me feel like that. and i would lie in bed for three years, but not with you.”
